Yard Waste Site Guidelines:
- Yard Waste Site is for City of Harlan residents only
- Yard Waste Site is open 7 days a week 7:30 a.m. - DUSK
- Yard Waste Site is only available for waste from residential areas only.
- ABSOLUTELY NO dumping by any business or commercial user
- Accepted Materials: leaves, grass clippings, limbs and brush less than 4 inches in diameter
- No containers or bags (biodegradable or plastic) may be disposed of at the site
- Disposed materials may be removed by others for their personal use (i.e., mulch, compost, etc.)
- Yard Waste Site is monitored by surveillance
- Failure to follow these guidelines may result in municipal infraction violation with fines up to $750/day
